By placing an order with us to purchase an item on our website you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below. By making a purchase you are in acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
Any personal information provided by you to us is confidential and will not be passed on to any other companies or organisations not affiliated with our business.
Technik Design Limited reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice at any time. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of the changes to these Terms.
We aim to ensure the prices shown are correct. If an error does occur, we will make every effort to contact you to confirm if you would like to proceed with the order at the correct price.
While every effort is made to supply all items listed online, there are instances where this may not be possible. In these cases we will contact you and offer a substitute with the same or greater value
We reserve the right to withdraw or replace products online without notice. Merchandise prices and specifications are also subject to change without notice.
We make every effort to ensure that the information on this website is correct at all times.
Technik Design will not be held responsible for any loss, consequential loss or damage to any individual or item following mis-use of our products. Our products are supplied with clear instructions for use and should be read and understood prior to using the products.
Payment can only be made using credit or debit cards via Stripe, PayPal or by payment made via Klarna. We cannot take orders or payment via phone or email.
Card payments are made through a secure server. Technik Design does not store your financial details. Your personal details are not passed to any third party during the checkout process.
Payment will be taken at the time of ordering the goods.
Delivery / Lead Time
We always aim to deliver your order promptly but cannot accept liability for delay by third party delivery partners.
When a product has been ordered and is not in stock and is required to be manufactured to order then the lead time of the item will be clearly stated at the point of ordering.
All items will be fully insured for delivery and it is the responsibility of the customer to report goods damaged in transit at point of receipt.
Technik Design shall not be liable to pay any compensation to you, other than any refund to the value of the price of the goods paid. No compensation can be offered for loss of wages due to failed or late deliveries.
Customers accept responsibility for the safe storage and use of the products upon receipt. Technik Design is not liable for damage caused by customer mishandling.
Return, Refunds and Cancellations
Your legal rights:
When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or misdescribed.
In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind. Please return the unused goods to us in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt and we will offer you an exchange, credit note or refund.
If you wish to return a product to us then it must be returned in its original packaging. To return a product to us then send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and return instructions will be given.
Please note that return shipping will be paid by the customer except in cases where goods are faulty, in which case they will be reimbursed to the customer. Once the goods are received back in our warehouse, a refund will be processed for the goods, minus applicable shipping costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods.
If you have placed an order with Technik Design for goods however you then wish to cancel the order prior to you receiving the goods then please email email@example.com as soon as possible and ensure that the term CANCELLATION is in the email header along with your order number. Following receipt of this email you cancellation confirmation and refund will be received within 7 days. Note, if you have paid for the goods through a 3rd party such as Paypal credit or Klarna then their own cancellation timescales and policies will apply.
The chair-x series of products come with a 12 month warranty from date of receipt. You do not need to register for a warranty you only need to keep the receipt / purchase details.
If your product develops an issue during use then we will always try to repair the item where possible as many parts can be replaced in a “like for like” basis. If the product has since been discontinued then you may be offered a replacement product which will be as closely matched to the product which you had originally purchased. It is possible that there could be some small differences in fabric colour or product size in the event of a replacement.
For any warranty claims please email firstname.lastname@example.org and provide purchasers name and address, photographic evidence of the fault, product serial number and date of purchase.
The warranty is non-transferable and only valid to the original purchaser.
For any shipment of replacements parts under warranty there will not be a charge however shipment of such parts to regions outside the UK will be subjected to a shipping charge.
- Damage to the product caused by improper use.
- Damage to the product due to impact damage or weight overloading.
- Damage to the product due to lack of care and maintenance.
- Damage to the product due to cosmetic abuse by pens, pencils, crayons, paint etc.
- Damage or wear and tear caused by modifications to the product.
- Situations in which we have reason to think that your claim is dishonest or fraudulent.
In any such cases above any claim under the guarantee could be refused.

If your product develops a problem during use and you require a spare part or replacement product this may be covered in the standard warranty. For any issues please email firstname.lastname@example.org and include photographs of the damaged part and include the serial number of the product.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
